So first, If you have a song, please note it to me, so I can keep track. Thanks! I keep losing track of people who have sent me their songs~

It took just a moment to register the seriousness of the situation. The knife had not pierced anything vital, so Hela's poisonous threats were petty. Sigyn was practically a goddess compared to mortals, and also a Vanir. The knife was embedded in her stomach, and as he deduced from the curve, might be barely touching her liver, but his magic was returning. If the time he deduced between the injury and his magic evened out, he could save her.

Then to his horror, he realized he had ruled out one factor. Hela had touched the dagger. He had been so incredibly reckless, and had been so stupid in his rush to save Sigyn. Ever since Hela had been chosen to rule over Hel, her touch was death in the living worlds. He could no longer hold his own child after that.

Sigyns death would be brought on by a piece of death in the living world. With more reckless behavior, he grasped on to his wife, making her cry in pain. She asked what he was doing, her voice thick with blood. He braced her, pulling her face into his own, telling her to grasp him, and apologizing. She looked startled, but the expression turned to total agony as he deftly grabbed the knife, pulling it out with a brutal sound.

Sigyn cried out again, and then collapsed. He pulled her up, and put his hand to exam the wound. It would have been better, the knife stopping any excess bleeding, but Sigyn would have died even sooner with it there. Loki pressed his hand to the wound, attempting to use what little magic would come. However, her bleeding only thinned a little. Though more sturdy then a human, she would die soon.

"Sigyn." His voice sounded shaky, it coming out to quick, not controlled and polished. "No- not you- Every is for you, you were the only one. You-"

Loki's hands started shaking as he realized that there was nothing, nothing, he could do.

Sigyn fluttered her eyelashes, and realized that even though she was in terrible pain, she couldn't keep her eyes open.

He was calling her.

She wanted to answer, because he sounded so lost, but her tongue was thick, the copper taste of blood on it. She could feel the stream on it rolling down her chin.

His face became blurred, a mess of colors. The last was his glorious eyes, the most interesting shade of light green, unusual like him, with a touch of blue. He was a master actor, but she could always tell how he really felt through his eyes. He tried to so hard, was uncaring, but there was always that touch of vulnerability. Always wanting something more. She fought to keep him in sight.

She wondered if she could have given it to him.

Unlike before, she felt death was no longer a terrible thing. She had finally told Loki how she felt. She did have regrets. Had she been less stubborn, she might have decoded Loki earlier, discovered the dark prince she was in love with. She regretted leaving him, leaving him to the disdain of Asgard. She could have healed him with half a chance, and maybe become whole herself.

The vision she had falling of the cliff came back, as even Loki's pained eyes, screaming for her to fight, and she would have laughed but for the fact she felt so drained. What dimension had she dreamed she could be happy again?

Her thoughts drifted, and she found herself falling back, while her shell of a body stayed in place. She drifted through a night, stars twinkling as she forgot all.

Her hand, resting on his knee, slipped off, and Loki gave a cry of agony.

You, my dear gavorche, are the real words-smith. Somehow your words have lifted off the screen and pierced my heart through to my soul.
