The companion

A continuation of Loki x Sigyn story, purely made for my own vanity. 

As requested, a new mini story.

The sunlight was brilliant and Sigyn mentally noted to come here more often. There were no guards along the corners, and the sun was easy and sweet here. Green was also abundant, the diverse foliage of Asgard groomed to lovely standards required by the queen. She heard snippits of Malekith and dark Elves.
Giant pillars lined the way, and suddenly before her, Thor and the woman had stopped, taking in the seascape across from them. The human looked very d-elated, and Sigyn has no doubt why. Asgard was a marvelous place.

She made her footstep louder, and both turned, startled.

Thor immediately looked a bit nervous, but at Sigyns warm smile he smiled back. "Sigyn!"

Sigyn gave a grin. "Thor, you were so quiet walking by that I was suspicious. I could not help but wonder at your guest." The answer was a bit coy, and the girl looked uncomfortable, threatened. "Please, introduce your guest to me." Thor nodded, apparently not getting the cues that Jane felt extremely threatened that an extremely pregnant women was so familiar with him. Sigy did not normally feel so playful, but after so long of being pitied, herded, and treated like a glass figure, she was up for some harmless game. 

"Oh, uh, Jane, this is Sigyn." Thor obviously wasn't comfortable with saying she was Loki's wife, and Sigyn had to agree. "And Sigyn, Jane Foster." Sigyn nodded, then smiled.

"I'm his sister." Jane looked both relieved and stunned. 

"Oh, hello."

Sigyn walked forward, her belly large. Jane's curiosity seemed to pop.

"I didn't know Thor had a sister." Sigyn laughed, and Thor followed in suite.

"Indeed. Forgive me, I don't mean to seem rude, but, you are from Midgard?"

"Yes."

"Fantastic! you must tell me everything about it!" Jane looked shocked, and Thor realized he and Jane wouldn't be getting private time anytime soon. "I read in a book from Midgard that you use metal and fire to create structures! Please, tell me more!"

Within a moment, Jane was drawn in as both woman compared facts of various planets. After awhile Sigyn weaved her way into what she wanted to know."

"So what madness has brought Thor to bring you here? Him traveling would be far easier then you." Jane looked a bit perturbed, but the human had steel in her, and was intelligent. She looked to Thor, who nodded, to say Sigyn was trustworthy. 

"The convergence, and I've somehow managed to ingest something called the Aether. Sigyn raised an eyebrow, familiar with the lore.

"Are you joking Thor?" Sigyn felt a little less comfortable, hand to her belly. He shook his head and Sigyn felt her stomach drop. "What does this mean."

"Things will be drawn to the Aether."

The baby gave a painful kick and she grimaced. Jane was alarmed at Sigyns uptightness. 

"What's going to happen to me?" Thor walked to her, grabbing her hands.

"Ill find a way to save you."

"You're father said there wasn't-" Sigyn suddenly felt terrible. 

"My Father doesn't know everything-"

"Don't let him hear that." They were all so engaged that they didn't see Lady Frigga approach. She was looking like a cat with new cream. Sigyn immediately relaxed, remembering where she was, and protected by whom. There could be nothing wrong here.


Then, a huge explosion destroyed the coastline.
